Duluth, Minn., U.S.A.—Two long-term employees of the Duluth Seaway Port Authority have been promoted to accounting positions.

Adrienne Sobzcak has been promoted to the position of accountant. Sobzcak had served as the Authority’s accounting technician since 1999. Promoted to the accounting technician position was Shellie Golden, who had served as the Port Authority’s receptionist/secretary since 1995.

Sobzcak is a native of Hermantown and now a Duluth resident. Her overall responsibilities for the Port Authority will now be to provide accurate and timely financial information, and to develop and maintain computerized systems.

Golden is a Duluth native. Her primary responsibility for the Port Authority will now be to provide accurate and timely financial payment of the Authority’s obligations.
