Changing of the guard:
Ronald L. Johnson, a former USG Interiors customer relations and transportation official,
has been appointed trade development director for the Seaway Port Authority of Duluth. Mr.
Johnson, 48, replaced Sam L. Browman (on right, in photo below), who retired in January
after 19 years of service. Shipping industry officials, including U.S. Seaway
Administrator David G. Sanders (left, in photo below), held a farewell luncheon for Mr.
Browman in Montreal.
Mr. Johnson will be responsible for maintaining and establishing programs that retain and generate port commerce. He was with USG Interiors in Cloquet, Minn., for 12 years and had transportation experience with Conwed Corp., Cloquet, and Cargill, Inc. |
