First call: Carlsbrooke Shipping Company of England sent its new mini-bulk carrier Mark-C on her first journey to the Port of Duluth-Superior late last year. She loaded 4,077 metric tons of bentonite clay at Duluth's Hallett Dock Company for Rotterdam. This was the third Great Lakes trip for the 295-foot vessel, built in July 1996 at Damen Shipyards, The Netherlands.
