This 90-year-old postcard belongs to a longtime friend of the Port and former stevedore, maritime surveyor and provider of various ship services, Capt. Archibald Kausch of Duluth, who was born about 10 years after this card was produced. For the sake of legibility, we have reproduced the postcard's original caption and placed it below the picture.
