Welcome, TRB
The Seaway Port Authority of Duluth welcomes the Transportation Research Board (TRB) to the Twin Ports for its 24th Annual Summer Ports, Waterways and International Trade Conference, on July 25- 28. As personnel and others gather, the Duluth Entertainment & Convention Center will be alive with workshops, demonstrations and lively discussions of vital issues — and bustling with reunions of friends and colleagues. In addition, the Duluth-Superior waterfront will be the site of various tours and further demonstrations. Among the topics on the agenda will be development in the Great Lakes/Seaway region, history and future of the Seaway, freight corridor and cross- border developments, intermodal freight terminal planning, trends in bulk shipping, marine environmental issues, ferry operations and legislative and research updates. The Port Authority is proud to host this meeting, and wishes everyone a pleasant and productive time. |
