Ray Klosowski

President

Ray Klosowski, retired Duluth Airport Authority executive director, was appointed to a six-year term on the Port Authority Board by the Duluth City Council in October, 2004,  reappointed in 2010 and again in 2016. Klosowski, a retired Brigadier General, commanded the 148th Fighter Wing at Duluth from 1989 to 1995 and the Minnesota Air National Guard from 1995 to 1997. He was inducted into the Minnesota Aviation Hall of Fame in 2007, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center in Superior, Wisconsin. A former member of the community advisory committee of Lake Superior College, Klosowski is a graduate of Duluth Central High School and the University of Minnesota Duluth. Born in Moose Lake, Minnesota, he now resides in Duluth.
