The boys and girls of summer

Port Director Davis Helberg threw out the first pitch at the second annual Port of Duluth-Superior Dukes event in June. The Dukes are the Duluth-Superior entry in the Northern League, an independent minor league, and play in Duluth's venerable Wade Stadium. The Dukes' game against the Sioux Falls Canaries was rained out after three innings, but not before plenty of hotdogs and fun times were enjoyed by waterfront personnel and their families.
