named LSW G.M. Mr. Lamb will be responsible for retaining and generating commerce through the Port of Duluth-Superior via the terminal, working with waterborne and overland carriers, shippers, receivers, agents, forwarders and organizations engaged in domestic and international trade. LSW has established a worldwide reputation for its ability to handle all types of general cargo and is the designated route for shippers of oversized cargo to and from North America. Before joining LSW, Mr. Lamb worked six years for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway, most recently serving as terminal manager at BNSF’s Allouez Taconite Facility in Superior. He also for the past five months acted as superintendent of operations for BNSF’s northeastern Minnesota operations. Mr. Lamb is a graduate of St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn., where he obtained a B.A. in political science. A native of LaCrosse, Wis., he and his wife, Sara, reside in Cloquet, Minn.
